Citroën AK400
van
Here are some views of my AK400 van which I
offer for sale following some years of sterling
service in my business. It has been a real
pleasure driving it; what could be better than to
have a van you love and drive it everywhere with
your business advertised on it. Not only that, I
have rubber eyelashes on the headlamps and a
bicycle bell in addition to the horn. The smiles
generated by this combination are a delight.
The van was bought in England from Mike Wheal's
H Vanarium in 1997. It had French number plates
8341 RC14. The van was shipped to Perth. The
photo at left shows the van prior to its rebuild.
It was later stripped back to bare metal and
totally rebuilt in 1998-99. For the next ten years
it served as our business van carrying foam
plastic, for our business Polystyrene Foam Cutting.
After years of faithful service and three years
since we sold the business we now offer the van for
sale. The paintwork has been touched up as needed.
The motor is a 1986 602cc with disc brakes and lhm
brake fluid. The engine pulls very strongly and
the whole van is in very good condition. The sign
writing is still on the back of the van but the
large writing on its sides has been removed. The
price is $20,000 The van is located in Perth W A.
