Starting at Canning Dam & finishing Mount Holland on Holland Track, south east of Burracoppin The aim of the Run was to travel from Wave Rock to the old gold Mining town of Coolgardie, following the footsteps of the old pioneers. Only a small portion of the track was covered as the extremely dry conditions had caused many small tree branches to fall on to the track, which frequently lodged under the cars and attempted to pull lines from under them, a serious matter for the GS wagon in particular. This made for slow progress & given our limited 3 day weekend we had to pull out at Mount Holland. Other than this problem the track conditions were well suited to the Citroëns
