Citroen
Dyane
This
is a unique Citroën Dyane limo style, hatch back, Raid
prepared car. This
car is owned by Rick Pembro from England
and was brought to Perth and was used by Rick on Raid
Australia 2008. Since
then Rick has married and now has a
family which keeps him home in the UK.
The Dyane is on a Citroën Acadiane chassis, which
is slightly longer and
much stronger than a 2cv chassis. The
car is about 200mm longer and hence it has a stretched
limo appearance. Rick
is a 2cv guru in the UK and is famous
for his gear box work.
The car is at
Ralph’s in Kelmscott near Perth and is priced at a very
low $9,000.

Citroen 2CV AZAM
It
is an original French car with
proper front opening front doors. It has
the original all steel, steering wheel and the small
speedometer and odometer
as can be seen in the photo above. The
engine is a 425cc original type which runs as sweet as a
nut. This car also has
the Citroën traffic clutch as well as a normal clutch. It also has
the windscreen wipers which run
off the speedo cable which means the faster you travel
the fasters the wipers
work. It
also has a manual override
function so you can wipe the window when stationary. This car was
fully rebuilt about ten years
ago but remains in fine condition. This
lovely little car is for sale at very low $8,500. The car is at
Ralph’s in Kelmscott near
Perth.

CX 2400 Pallas C-matic
I bought this car because
our daughter would not
allow our grandchild to be passenger in a 2CV! As our
grand daughter has not
travelled in it for more than twelve months the car is
now obsolete. It
has been driven once a week to keep the hydraulics
going. The
car has been completely
re-built by Bob Senn and runs perfectly and stays up for
many hours after it
has been driven. It
has one rust spot
the size of a 5¢ piece at the driver’s door.
If you are looking for a car which will last for
many years, this one is
for you. If you are looking for a showroom car you will
need to spend some
money on re-spray. Comes with spares (alternator,4 tyres
& wide wheels)
